In the summer of 2016/17 we can expect another busy race calender in Kawerau and with that the best paddlers will be on display in Kawerau.
The Bay of Plenty has a strong contigency of canoe slalom paddlers. The top athletes all have learnt their trade on the numerous rivers around the region, with Kawerau as a premier developmental venue from beginners upwards.
