As an event organiser, you must take all practical steps to eliminate, isolate or minimise hazards in areas affected by your event. To do this you will need to record and show what practical steps you are taking to meet your health and safety obligations.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), AKA drones
If you wish to fly drones during your event for photography or other purposes, be certain that you take note of the Civil Aviation Authority rules regarding drone usage.
Kawerau District Council has additional guidelines to let you know what you are allowed to do when flying drones in the District.
